Here are the most interesting stories coming out of the first slate of games in the AFC North:

Morning take: Pittsburgh's offense has the potential to be one of the NFL's best unit this year because it can beat you in so many ways. "Fast" Willie Parker (138 rushing yards, three touchdowns) had his number called against Houston Sunday.

Morning take: I'm not a stickler for scoring charts, and it didn't matter anyway, but I'm still scratching my head over Cleveland's decision to kick a field goal, down 21 points, with 10 minutes to go in the game.

Morning take: You can count on Baltimore's defense and special teams to be solid. If this team finally gets decent quarterback play, the Ravens could be tough to deal with.

Morning take: No team should be written off after one bad game. But we do know this: Cincinnati needs to be more physical if it wants to win in the rugged AFC North.
