AFC North injury impact

11/11/2011

A look at the injuries in the division and what it means for Sunday's games:

BENGALS: CB Adam Jones (hamstring) is doubtful, which means Kelly Jennings will be the nickel back against Pittsburgh. DE Carlos Dunlap (hamstring) and TE Jermaine Gresham are both questionable. They were limited in Friday's practice after missing at least one practice during the week. With backup TE Donald Lee (foot) out, the Bengals really need Gresham to play. MLB Rey Maualuga (ankle, probable) should be back after missing three straight games.

RAVENS: WR Lee Evans (ankle) is doubtful, which is a disappointment after he was limited in practice all week. Rookie Torrey Smith, who caught the game-winning pass Sunday night in Pittsburgh, remains the starter. FS Ed Reed (shoulder) and LB Terrell Suggs (knee) are probable after returning for a full practice today. They both missed practice Thursday. ... For the Seahawks, QB Tarvaris Jackson and WR Sidney Rice are both probable. They have only connected for one touchdown this season.

BROWNS: As expected, the top two running backs (Peyton Hillis and Montario Hardesty) are out along with WR Mohamed Massaquoi (head). That means the starting wide receivers will be Greg Little and Josh Cribbs. Chris Ogbonnaya is expected to make his second start at running back. FS T.J. Ward (foot and finger) is doubtful and would be replaced by Usama Young. CB Dimitri Patterson (questionable, knee) didn't practice again and would be replaced by rookie fifth-round pick Buster Skrine. K Phil Dawson (migraines) is probable. ... For the Rams, QB Sam Bradford (ankle) is listed as questionable but he handled most of the work with the first team Friday. RB Steven Jackson (foot) is probable and will start. RT Jason Smith is out, and DE James Hall is questionable.

STEELERS: OLB LaMarr Woodley (hamstring) will miss his second straight game and will be replaced by Jason Worilds. WR Emmanuel Sanders (knee) is also out. ILB James Farrior (calf) is expected to return, and OLB James Harrison (toe) and SS Troy Polamalu (rib) are probable.
