Here are the most interesting stories Monday in the AFC North:
  • It was good grades all around for the Baltimore Ravens following their 34-3 thrashing of the Cleveland Browns.
Morning take: The Ravens did exactly what they’re supposed to do against a lesser opponent. There’s a good chance Baltimore’s status atop ESPN.com’s power rankings will remain in tact for the second straight week.
  • Meanwhile, the Browns are in complete disarray after a third straight blowout loss.
Morning take: Adding to the list of issues is another quarterback controversy. Cleveland coach Eric Mangini benched Brady Quinn for Derek Anderson at halftime and neither played well.
  • The Cincinnati Bengals rallied in the fourth quarter to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, 23-20.
Morning take: This could be a potential turning point if the Bengals continue to build this season. The past two victories showed a lot of heart and poise from Cincinnati.
  • The Steelers on the other end are left stunned after losing to Cincinnati and falling to 1-2.
Morning take: Pittsburgh has now blown back-to-back fourth-quarter leads, which is very un-Steeler like. This sets up a huge game for the Steelers next week against the San Diego Chargers (2-1).
