Steelers' Pouncey is officially inactive

DENVER -- As expected, Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey is on the Steelers' inactive list for today's wild-card game against the Broncos.

Pouncey aggravated his high-ankle sprain last Sunday in Cleveland and hurt it again during practice this week. Doug Legursky will replace Pouncey like he did in the Super Bowl, and Chris Kemoeatu takes over for Legursky at left guard.

Free safety Ryan Clark, the team's leading tackler, is also inactive because of his blood condition. He did make the trip with the Steelers. Ryan Mundy will fill in for Clark.

Here are today's inactives:

STEELERS: RB Mewelde Moore, S Ryan Clark, CB Cortez Allen, C Maurkice Pouncey, LB Mortty Ivy, DE Al Woods and OT Jamon Meredith.

BRONCOS: S Brian Dawkins, FB Austin Sylvester, FB Spencer Larsen, LB Mike Mohamed, OT Ryan Harris, TE Julius Thomas, DE Derrick Harvey.
