Morning take: Mewelde to start for Pittsburgh?

Here are the most interesting stories in the AFC North:
- Word coming out of Pittsburgh is that backup tailback Mewelde Moore likely will start Sunday in place of Willie Parker, who tweaked his knee again in practice.
Morning take: That's unfortunate for the Steelers. But at least Pittsburgh is playing a winless team this week in the Cincinnati Bengals.
- In Cincinnati, Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer spoke for the first time about his visit to a doctor in New York earlier this week, saying that he heard some things about his elbow that were unexpected.
Morning take: The more we hear about this, the more we think this is more serious than previously believed.
- In Baltimore, is it time to let Ravens rookie quarterback Joe Flacco to take more chances?
Morning take: We don't think so. Flacco has five interceptions in his past two games. If anything, it's time for the Ravens to get back to their winning formula from the first two weeks.
- In Cleveland, the Browns will get their first look at newly-signed Washington Redskins tailback Shaun Alexander.
Morning take: It's a little surprising that a player with Alexander's resume lasted on the street this long. But now he has a chance to prove that he deserves to stay in the NFL.
