Morning take: What's next for Browns?

Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC North:

Morning take: Accorsi’s name is popping up a lot lately in Cleveland. He’s been out of football for two years but remained in contact with Browns ownership. Interesting.

Morning take: Talk to any coach, and they will tell you winning third downs is a huge key to victory. Baltimore was 11 for 18 on third down in a 30-7 win over the Denver Broncos.

  • A decision on the playing status in Denver of Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark, who has sickle cell, will be determined later in the week.

Morning take: Clark received medical clearance but this is still risky. The choice is now up to Clark and the coaching staff.

Morning take: The Bengals would be smart not to rush Smith with too much responsibility. This is a tough first game to make your NFL debut as an offensive lineman.
