Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC North:
Morning take: Accorsi’s name is popping up a lot lately in Cleveland. He’s been out of football for two years but remained in contact with Browns ownership. Interesting.
The Baltimore Ravens offensively are winning on third down.
Morning take: Talk to any coach, and they will tell you winning third downs is a huge key to victory. Baltimore was 11 for 18 on third down in a 30-7 win over the Denver Broncos.
A decision on the playing status in Denver of Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark, who has sickle cell, will be determined later in the week.
Morning take: Clark received medical clearance but this is still risky. The choice is now up to Clark and the coaching staff.
Cincinnati Bengals rookie offensive tackle Andre Smith (foot) could see his first action Sunday against the Ravens.
Morning take: The Bengals would be smart not to rush Smith with too much responsibility. This is a tough first game to make your NFL debut as an offensive lineman.
