Take a look at what we were discussing in our weekly AFC North chat:
Greg (Kingston, Ontario) In your opinion, who owns the best secondary in the AFC North?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN) Baltimore has the best corners in the division. Pittsburgh has the best safeties.
Tom Cincy [via mobile] I don't understand why Leon Hall was not in your top 25? He will be healthy by the time the season starts and he is clearly the best corner in the division.
Jamison Hensley (ESPN) Hall's injury status weighed heavily in the decision. I know by saying this, everyone will bring up Suggs being No. 15. But there is a difference between Suggs, the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and Hall. If it was known that Hall would be 100 percent for the season opener, he would have been included in the top 25.
Jason (Austin, TX) I'm glad to see Lerner finally selling the team after a number of years of poorly hired coaches and staff. Of course the sale had to happen when the team is finally generating momentum. What are the best and worst case scenarios for the likely Browns sale? Will we at least keep Heckert, a GM who actually knows what he's doing?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN) The key is whether former Eagles executive Joe Banner comes along in the deal. I've heard conflicting reports about Banner's relationship with Heckert. Some say Heckert left on good terms, while others say otherwise. As Heckert said this week, no one knows how everything will sort out in the ownership change.
Saxxin (Chat room) With Kindle healthy and now in the mix how do you think he does this year? Will he show any of the skills that he was drafted for or do you think his head injury is to much to overcome?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN) I want to see what Kindle can do in preseason games. He has a problem with his hearing since the accident, which is a big hurdle for him. Not sure he'll ever be the player that the Ravens drafted in the second round.
Jordan (Casper, Wy) Who do you think has the best D-Line in the division?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN) I really like the Bengals' line, especially if Dunlap can become a starter.
Tee Jay Taylor (Orange, New Jersey) So with James Harrison getting up in age and who do you see as his potential replacement? Jason Worlids or Chris Carter?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN) The Steelers were banking on that being Worilds. But he has yet to show it on the field.
Corey (Fantasy Land) Come on and be a Steelers homer already! Purple isn't your color.
Jamison Hensley (ESPN) I'm wearing green today. Guess that makes me a Packers homer today. Anyone need a discount double-check?
