PITTSBURGH -- New York Giants receiver Plaxico Burress was benched for disciplinary reasons in Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
But the bigger question is, will he play?
Backup receiver Domenik Hixon earned the start, and through one-plus quarters Burress has yet to see the field. The Giants already have tried a few spread sets without putting Burress in the game.
The Steelers lead 7-6 after stopping New York inside the 1-yard line on fourth down during its most recent drive.
