Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC North:
  • With their surprising 6-2 start, the Cincinnati Bengals are late-season candidates for flex scheduling.
Morning take: But Cincinnati’s tough games are mostly over. So it’s doubtful the rest of the nation wants to see the Bengals play the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs.
Morning take: With safety Troy Polamalu healthy, this defense is one of the NFL's best. The Steelers are getting hot at the right time.
  • After losing four of their last five, Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh is looking for answers.
Morning take: I wouldn’t rule the Ravens out. This team is talented enough to string together wins in the second half of the season. But Baltimore has some fixing to do before this team can pull it off.
  • Is this a new season for the 1-7 Cleveland Browns?
Morning take: That's one way to look at it. But changes have to be made, starting at quarterback.
