It was not great news across the board in the division when Forbes announced the values all 32 NFL teams. Each AFC North franchise slipped one spot from 2011.
The team that took the biggest hit was the Bengals, whose value fell from $875 million to $871 million. Cincinnati, which went from the 25th most valuable NFL team in 2011 to 26th in 2012, tops only the Lions, Falcons, Bills, Raiders, Rams and Jaguars in current value.
The Ravens remain the most valuable team in the division, ranking 11th in the league. Baltimore, which ranked No. 8 in 2010, is valued at $1.157 billion.
The Steelers organization, who is valued at $1.1 billion, dropped from 13th in 2011 to 14th in 2012. The Steelers and Ravens are among the 20 teams valued at $1 billion or more.
The Browns, who were sold to businessman Jimmy Haslam, is valued at $987 million. That moved Cleveland from 20th in 2011 to 21st in 2012.
