Here are some observations from the Bengals-Browns game:
  • Browns running back Trent Richardson is making a major impact in his second career game. He gained 83 yards on 13 carries and scored his first career touchdown.
  • Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green has only two catches against the Browns' depleted secondary (Joe Haden is suspended and Sheldon Brown didn't start). But he did score on a 10-yard catch.
  • The Bengals, who trailed at halftime in both meetings with the Browns last season, struck early against Cleveland. After the Browns' first offensive possession, Adam Jones returned a punt 81 yards for a touchdown.
  • Quarterback watch: the Browns' Brandon Weeden is 9-of-15 for 121 yards (more importantly, no interceptions) and the Bengals' Andy Dalton is 9-of-14 for 102 yards.
