Revisiting the Cleveland Browns' 24-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills at Cleveland Browns Stadium:

Browns coach Pat Shurmur hinted that he might shake things up at wide receiver with Greg Little struggling.

"When he goes out in the game, got to catch ball," Shurmur said Monday, via The Plain Dealer. "Can't play a guy that's going to drop footballs."

Last season, Little finished second in the NFL to Roddy White with 11 drops, according to ESPN Stats & Information. In Sunday's loss, Little dropped a critical third-down pass late in the second quarter.

The Browns may be already de-emphasizing Little in the offense. He only saw four passes come his way Sunday, which was fewer than Ben Watson, Jordan Cameron and Trent Richardson.

Little didn't endear himself to fans last week when he posted celebratory touchdown pictures after a loss to the Bengals. When there was a backlash about it, Little tweeted that he could "care less" what fans say.

Reducing Little's playing time seems to be the right call. The problem is the Browns have no legitimate replacement for him. Cleveland chose not to overspend on a free-agent wide receiver like Pierre Garcon, which is why the team is stuck with receivers who get little separation.

STAT THAT STICKS: 6.5 -- Average margin of defeat (in points) by the Browns during their nine-game losing streak, the longest current one in the NFL.

OVERHEARD: “I never thought we would’ve been 0-3. I never thought we’d be 0-1 the way the Philly game went [in the season opener]. We can’t let it steamroll on us. We’ve got to stop it now. So that’s what we’re going to try to do Thursday — try to stop the bleeding because we’re bleeding right now.” Strong safety T.J. Ward to the Akron Beacon Journal on the Browns' woeful start.

WHAT'S NEXT: The Browns (0-3) have a quick turnaround, traveling to the Ravens (2-1) in three days. Since rejoining the league in 1999, the Browns are 1-3 on Thursday night games.
