His interception of Eli Manning in the first quarter was his first of the season and his first in 12 games. Taylor played a key role for a Steelers defense that limited the Giants to 182 total net yards (114 passing, 68 rushing).
The first time Taylor was named AFC defensive player of the week was in 2007. He's just the second player in the AFC North to win the defensive award this season, joining Bengals defensive end Michael Johnson (Week 3).
