Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC North:

  • The Cincinnati Bengals (7-3) currently hold the No. 2 seed in the AFC thanks to the fifth tiebreaker, which is "strength of victory."
Morning take: Despite division leaders San Diego (7-3) and New England (7-3) having the same record, this means the records of the opponents they've defeated are not better than Cincinnati's.

  • The Cleveland Browns over the years have had their share of weird finishes.
Morning take: Last week’s finish against the Detroit Lions was right up there. But in my opinion, the "helmet toss" was the most odd.

  • Is it time for the Baltimore Ravens to bring out their bag of tricks?
Morning take: Where has the Suggs package gone? The Ravens were great with that last year.

Morning take: The timeline the Steelers are providing is two to four weeks, which would have Batch ready for the final few games of the regular season. This is one reason the team hasn’t made a more drastic move to sign a veteran backup.
