AFC North quarterback report card

A look at how the quarterbacks around the division fared in Week 14:

Andy Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals

Stats: 20-for-33 (60.6 percent) for 206 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Comment: This was a tough one to grade because Dalton was let down by his pass protection as well as (shockingly) by A.J. Green, who had his worst game in the NFL. Dalton, though, tried to force the ball to Green and paid for it. The Cowboys intercepted Dalton and converted the turnover into a touchdown.

QBR: 36.3 (21st among quarterbacks this week)

Grade: C

Brandon Weeden, Cleveland Browns

Stats: 17-for-30 (56.7 percent) for 217 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions.

Comment: It was far from a terrific performance but it was better than the statistics suggest. Weeden's numbers would've been better if one of his two touchdown passes (on the same drive) wasn't nullified by penalty. It was a blowout win in which Weeden didn't have to do much. His throws and decisions were solid for the most part, and he didn't throw an interception for the fifth game of the season.

QBR: 25.7 (25th among quarterbacks this week)

Grade: C-plus

Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens

Stats: 16-for-21 (76.2 percent) for 182 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.

Comment: Once again, inconsistency is the biggest problem for Flacco. In the first half, he had three touchdowns and only three incompletions. In the third quarter, he committed two turnovers that led to field goals. Flacco threw a costly interception deep in Redskins territory and fumbled for the second straight game.

QBR: 54.2 (11th among quarterbacks this week)

Grade: C

Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers

Stats: 22-for-42 (52.4 percent) for 285 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.

Comment: Roethlisberger looked like he was healthy enough to play. He made some good throws downfield, two of which were dropped by Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown). He also ran for 31 yards because the pocket collapsed often. When trying to rally the Steelers in the second half, Roethlisberger committed two turnovers (fumble on a lateral and an interception), both of which were converted into touchdowns.

QBR: 34.7 (22nd among quarterbacks this week)
