Here are the most interesting stories Friday in the AFC North:
- Quarterback Brady Quinn was solid (239 yards, two touchdown) in his first NFL start, but the Cleveland Browns lost 34-30 to the Denver Broncos.
Morning take: Quinn did his job well Thursday night. But now that Cleveland's season is over, you wonder how hard this team will play the rest of the way.
- Pittsburgh Steelers tailback Willie Parker (shoulder) will not play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
Morning take: We wonder if this will affect the decision to play or sit quarterback Ben Roethlisberger Sunday?
- The Baltimore Ravens are being mentioned as a possible suitor for free-agent cornerback DeAngelo Hall.
Morning take: We have mixed thoughts about this move. The Ravens are playing well and do not need another strong personality. But at the same time, Hall probably can be had on the cheap, which would make him a bargain.
