Here are some highlights from our NFL free agency chat this afternoon:

Jordan (Ohio): Jamison -- As a Browns fan, who should I be rooting for more with the 3-4 scheme (Cliff Avril vs. Paul Kruger)?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): I would choose Avril because he has a better chance of being an impact player on every down. Kruger doesn't hold up well against the run.

Walter (PITT): The Steelers never make a big splash in free agency, but I'd be satisfied if we could retain cornerback Keenan Lewis. Do you have any idea if that's a possibility?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): What helps the Steelers is that there's a lot of CBs in free agency. That will drive the price down on Lewis. What hurts them is Ray Horton is the DC of the Browns, who have a lot of cap room and a need for a No. 2 cornerback. I'd say the odds are against the Steelers keeping Lewis.

Sue Shi (Cincinnati): Will the Bengals re-sign Andre Smith or draft another tackle?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): I don't see the Bengals paying Smith $9 million per season, if that is truly his asking price. The Bengals could grab a quality right tackle with their first pick in the draft.

Ryan (Cleveland): Any truth to the rumor that the Browns are close to getting James Harrison too? Would they go after him if they land Kruger?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): That would show no confidence in Jabaal Sheard if they signed both.

Aaron (Ohio): Who is starting running back for Steelers this season?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): Tell me what running back is getting drafted by the Steelers. That's a major part of the equation.

Walter (PITT): Ravens and Dannell Ellerbe. Think he's staying?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): It would make sense on why the Ravens are trying to open up cap room. But the Browns have so much more cap space. If they really want him, they should be able to get him.

BEN (DSM,IA): Thoughts on the Steelers cutting soon to be 33-year-old Ike Taylor and re-signing Keenan Lewis. Would be a bold move, but cannot let all this talent leave for future comp picks.

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): Steelers seem set to go with Cortez Allen and Ike Taylor as starters and William Gay as the nickel back. Don't shoot the messenger.

Josh Davis (hong kong): Jamison its 1 am in Hong Kong I have work in the morning can you please answer this so i can go to bed happy... Is there anyway the bengals draft a de or dt in the 1st or 2nd round even though they are loaded on the d-line?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): I don't see that. It's more likely the Bengals will draft a safety, offensive tackle or outside linebacker in the first round. Now go to bed.

David (Wisconsin): Bigger priority for the Bengals: getting Smith back or extending soon to be FA guys like Atkins?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): Extending Geno Atkins and A.J. Green is the way to go. Bengals can replace Andre Smith. They can't fill the void left by Atkins and Green if they go in the near future.

Corey (D.C.): Who do you think will start at WR opposite Torrey Smith for Baltimore? Jacoby Jones? Tommy Streeter? Tandon Doss?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): Can I choose none of the above? If any of those guys start, Flacco and the Ravens are in trouble. I would prefer to move Pitta to WR and put Dickson out there at TE.

brian (pennsylvania): Which running back do you think the Steelers will take in the draft?

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): I really like Marcus Lattimore out of South Carolina. He should be there in the third round. Yes, there are injury concerns. But he is the most talented back in the draft.

Scott (Northglenn, CO): Top 3 likeliest destinations for Ed Reed...

Jamison Hensley (ESPN): Other than the Ravens, it would be Patriots, Colts and 49ers.
