Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC North:

Morning take: With an 1-4 mark against teams with winning records, it's a legitimate question. The Philadelphia Eagles (5-4-1) barely have a winning record, but a Ravens win Sunday would help erase the unease currently among fans in Baltimore.

Morning take: Cleveland got the win Monday so we're not going to make a big deal out of this. But the Browns have been a poor tackling team for a long time, and we've suggested for a while that Cleveland should have more physical training camps.

  • Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Hines Ward doesn't know if there will be retaliation for breaking the jaw of Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Keith Rivers, but Ward said he'll be ready.

Morning take: This is an interesting subplot to this divisional game. Ward set the tone in the previous meeting by knocking Rivers out, and the Steelers manhandled Cincinnati the rest of the game. Let's see if the Bengals are tougher in their second meeting.
