Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC North:
- Just 24 hours after losing quarterback Derek Anderson (knee) for the season, the Browns are working out former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Bruce Gradkowski Tuesday.
Morning take: The Browns want a backup with NFL experience, but it doesn't really matter. Cleveland won't win many games regardless of who's under center.
- The Baltimore Ravens have developed an offense full of tricks and surprises.
Morning take: Every week there seems to be something new. It may come off as some smoke and mirrors, but if it's always working who cares how it's categorized?
- Cincinnati Bengals owner Mike Brown says head coach Marvin Lewis is doing "an incredibly good job."
Morning take: This is owner speak for, "You have two years left on your contract in Cincinnati and we're not letting you off easy."
- The Pittsburgh Steelers released running back Najeh Davenport -- again.
Morning take: OK, stop the back-and-forth with this one. Next time sign another tailback not named Najeh.
