We have another interesting "Thought of the Day" in the AFC North blog.
Baltimore controls its own destiny and can clinch a wild card with a win over the Oakland Raiders (5-10). Not to look too far ahead, but if the Ravens get in they will have a rematch in the playoffs against one of these aforementioned division leaders.
The Bengals beat the Ravens twice this year, including a 17-7 win in Cincinnati on Nov. 8. Would Baltimore prefer to try its luck a third time or avoid the Bengals because of the recent losing streak?
A dropped ball on fourth down by Mark Clayton was the difference in Baltimore’s 27-21 loss to New England on Oct. 4. Would the Ravens prefer the Patriots in January, or is avoiding Tom Brady in the postseason a bigger priority?
