Dumervil is officially doubtful for Sunday

December, 6, 2013
OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.

This puts Dumervil's streak of 44 consecutive games played in jeopardy. The last time he missed a game was September 2011.

Dumervil, the Ravens' sacks leader, injured his ankle eight days ago and still played 34 snaps. He didn't practice all week.

If he doesn't play, Courtney Upshaw would see most of the snaps at strongside linebacker, and Pernell McPhee would become the primary backup.

Here is the complete injury report for the Ravens:

Out: S Brynden Trawick (ankle).

Doubtful: OLB Elvis Dumervil (ankle, did not practice).

Questionable: DE Chris Canty (shoulder, limited in practice), CB Asa Jackson (thigh, limited), WR Brandon Stokley (knee, limited) and CB Lardarius Webb (abs, limited).

Probable: CB Jimmy Smith (concussion, full participation).
