The first week of training camp can be dangerous. In case you missed it, here are some key injuries that took place over the weekend.

Baltimore Ravens

  • Defensive tackle Haloti Ngata was carted off the field Sunday with a right leg injury. There is no definitive update, but Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Sunday that he doesn't think it is serious.
  • Running back Willis McGahee suffered a leg injury Saturday and didn't practice Sunday. But McGahee told reporters it was a short-term injury.
  • Left tackle Jared Gaither sprained his ankle Saturday. He couldn't practice Sunday because it was still swollen.

Cleveland Browns

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals open their training camps Monday. The AFC North version of the Blog Network is live in Georgetown, Ky., with the Bengals this week, so check back later for updates.
