Baltimore Ravens fans are still waiting patiently for Pro Bowl safety Ed Reed's decision to retire or play football in 2010. Reed said after Baltimore's divisional playoff loss to the Indianapolis Colts that he is "50-50."
But a report by Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post could provide some insight into Reed's thinking. Wilson, who also covers the Ravens for the Carroll County Times, reports a league source and several teammates believe Reed will return.
Reed did a radio interview Tuesday and avoided the topic. Here is the exchange courtesy of The Baltimore Sun.
Reed has played through a nerve condition in his neck, in addition to foot and groin injuries this season. He is still listed as a Pro Bowl starter but most likely will back out of the game this week.
