Coming off a pair of big playoff wins, here are the most interesting stories Monday in the AFC North:
Despite a weekend of upsets, the Pittsburgh Steelers were the only home team to win with a 35-24 victory over the San Diego Chargers.
Morning take: The Steelers were extremely sharp coming off a bye while the other top seeds looked very rusty this week.
The win also marked a big day for Steelers tailback Willie Parker, whose pregame pep talk with mentor Jerome Bettis led to 146 yards and two touchdowns.
Morning take: With all that Parker has been through this year, it shows a lot of heart and character to bounce back in the biggest game, so far, this season.
After Saturday's playoff win for the Baltimore Ravens over the Tennessee Titans, could this be a repeat of 2000?
Morning take: Indeed, there is a familiar feel to Baltimore's championship year. But Pittsburgh has been in the Ravens' way all season and will try to keep it that way.
From December, here is a recap from yours truly regarding the Ravens-Steelers rivalry.
Morning take: If this story doesn't get you hyped for Sunday's AFC Championship Game, nothing will.
