Bengals get DE Dunlap
By James Walker
The Cincinnati Bengals took another risk on a talented yet unreliable player in the second round. Cincinnati chose former Florida defensive end Carlos Dunlap with the No. 54 overall pick.
Dunlap has first-round talent and athleticism but fell to the end of the second round because of motivation concerns. The Bengals have taken chances on boom-or-bust players before, and it will be up to head coach Marvin Lewis and his staff to get the best out of Dunlap.
Cincinnati's defense struggled with rushing the passer last season, particularly at defensive end. Dunlap can help if he plays up to his potential.
