Morning take: Steelers' position battles
By James Walker
Here are the most interesting stories Sunday in the AFC North:
Morning take: Players like cornerback Bryant McFadden and rookie offensive lineman Maurkice Pouncey have to solidify their projected spots. But nearly everything else appears set in Pittsburgh.
- Outside of quarterback, there doesn't seem to be many position battles this summer for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Morning take: It's hard to say if neither the team nor the player provides clarification. But all we know at this point is Gaither hasn't participated in minicamp due to an unspecified injury.
Morning take: I disagree. But much of that will hinge on Massaquoi. If he's able to fill the important role as Cleveland's No. 1 receiver, everything else could fall in place.
- Cleveland Browns receiver Mohamed Massaquoi believes the team's receivers will be fine this year.
Morning take: I like the competition Cincinnati has there. The starters are set with Chad Ochocinco and Antonio Bryant. But after that, it will be interesting to see who steps up to fill reserve roles.
