Morning take: Roethlisberger will play
By James Walker
Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC North:
Morning take: Roethlisberger needs his reps, too. So this is a good decision. He will be away from the team for at least a month once the regular season starts.
- After getting zero snaps in the preseason opener, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will play in Saturday's exhibition against the New York Giants.
Morning take: They have the talent, depth and a great coaching staff. Barring injury, the Ravens have a lot of key ingredients for a deep postseason run.
Morning take: Until the Bengals and/or Bryant come clean, there will be plenty of speculation. The latest, according to Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network, is Cincinnati might seek an injury settlement.
Morning take: Ward is doing fine so far. But since he's expected to play a major role in Cleveland's defense, a lot is expected of him.
