Here are the top stories Wednesday in the AFC North:
Morning take: If Smith isn't good enough to play left tackle and protect Carson Palmer's blind side, then the Bengals should not have taken him with the sixth overall pick. Now they're on the hook to pay a potential right tackle left tackle money at approximately $50 million.
Morning take: I'm not sure I buy this one. Harrison's fear of flying may be legit, but he manages during the football season. Plus a drive or train ride to Washington D.C. from Pittsburgh could be additional options.
Morning take: Both Heap and fellow tight end L.J. Smith have missed practice time this offseason with injuries. The Ravens need at least one of these tight ends to stay healthy in 2009.
Morning take: A trade would be very tough for Cleveland. Cribbs is excellent at what he does, but what could the Browns realistically get in return for a special-teams player?
