TE Heath Miller will return Thursday
By James Walker
Coming off a tough loss to the New York Jets, the Pittsburgh Steelers (10-4) got their first dose of good news this week as they shift their focus to the Carolina Panthers.
According to reports out of Pittsburgh here and here, Steelers starting tight end Heath Miller will return Thursday night against the Panthers (2-12). Miller missed the past two games with a concussion after taking a brutal hit from Baltimore Ravens linebacker Jameel McClain.
Pittsburgh's offense has missed Miller. Backup tight ends Matt Spaeth and David Johnson both had issues with drops against the Jets. Miller has 33 receptions for 384 yards and a touchdown this season.
The Steelers are tied with Baltimore (10-4) in the AFC North but own the tiebreaker with a better division record.
