Let's make a draft board!
By James Walker
AFC North draftniks, it's time to go to work. As we mentioned on Sunday, we are creating our community board for the 2011 blogger mock draft.
The instructions are simple: Pick one team, provide your five top-rated players for that draft slot and send them to our division inbox.
Please be realistic. For example, do not list LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson for the Pittsburgh Steelers just because it's an area of need. Corners like Miami's Brandon Harris and Texas' Aaron Williams make more sense at No. 31.
Also, we are disqualifying Florida center/guard Mike Pouncey for Pittsburgh since there's virtually no chance he will make it to the Steelers barring a trade. But you can list Pouncey for the Baltimore Ravens at No. 26 if you choose.
The voting is officially open and will close on Wednesday. I will tabulate all the (reasonable) ballots we receive over the next 24 hours and that will account for 50 percent. The other 50 percent will be my list of top players for each team in the division.
This week we will unveil our 2011 AFC North draft board and hope the other divisional bloggers don't take a peek.
