Morning take: Mendenhall lost endorsement

By James Walker

Here are the most interesting stories Friday in the AFC North: Morning take: This was not a surprise, as Mendenhall received a lot of heat nationally all week. If players can lose endorsements over Twitter, they really need to be careful when using that medium.
Morning take: It's questionable if the Bengals can get this kind of offer. But if so, they should take it immediately. Trying to prove a point to a quarterback willing to retire is not worth passing up a golden opportunity to improve the franchise.
Morning take: The status of some of these players could be altered depending on what happens with the new collective bargaining agreement. But overall, it's not a deep group of elite talent.
Morning take: The Ravens drafted the athletic Tyrod Taylor in the sixth round, but he's more of a project. Baltimore needs someone similar to Marc Bulger to help remain competitive in the event Flacco goes down.
