AFC North links: Rivalry remains intense

By staff

Baltimore Ravens

Chris Carr hopes there will be a grace period for teams to re-sign their own players before free agency begins.

Lockout or not, the Ravens-Steelers rivalry remains as intense as ever.

Cincinnati Bengals

Cedric Benson’s assault trial has been delayed until Aug. 29.

Voting for the 2011 Hall of Fame class begins Monday. Some impressive names on the list.

Cleveland Browns

The Browns are working on scheduling more workouts. The plan is to set something up where offensive and defensive players can participate. Linebacker Scott Fujita: “... I’ve been in touch with all the players anyway, especially on defense. We’ve been talking about the transition [from a 3-4 defense to a 4-3] and some of the things they should expect. But so far, what I’ve been given is just pretty vanilla stuff, more philosophy stuff, like I said.”

Pittsburgh Steelers

Despite the current lockout situation, the Steelers are not planning any changes to their training camp.

Ryan Tollner, who is Ben Roethlisberger's agent, said there is "nothing new" regarding his client's foot.
