By James Walker
With four arrests in the past week, the AFC North division is now tied for first in offseason arrests during the NFL lockout, which began on March 11.
All was quiet until Hines Ward of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Adam Jones, Cedric Benson and Marvin White of the Cincinnati Bengals were recently arrested for various transgressions. Here is the full database of arrests, courtesy of the San Diego Union-Tribune.
The AFC North now is in a five-way tie with the AFC West, AFC South, NFC North and NFC East, which all have four arrests since the NFL closed its doors. The NFC South has three arrests and the NFC West has one. The AFC East is the only division yet to have a player arrested during the lockout.
