Flacco (sort of) injures Harbaugh
By Jamison Hensley
In an odd development, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco cut head coach John Harbaugh under his right eye on Wednesday. Venerable public relations guru Kevin Byrne wrote in his weekly blog that it was the result of "a little bit of a wrestling match."
As Byrne describes it, Harbaugh reached out to Flacco while holding a pen. When Flacco pushed the arm away, the butt of the pen caught Harbaugh in the cheek.
Still not sure if this exchange is kind of cool (that the quarterback and head coach are that relaxed around one another) or just strange (how much "wrestling" was really involved?) I'm pretty sure there's no horsing around like this between Ben Roethlisberger and Mike Tomlin. And I'm positive it doesn't occur between Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.
When you see the cut, it's nothing major. It's almost like a deep scratch. Nevertheless, this is just a bizarre occurrence. If I were offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, I would keep the sharp objects away when Flacco is around.
