Ravens' Ngata sits out second practice
By Jamison Hensley
While the Steelers are dealing with multiple injuries with their linebackers, the Ravens now have an injury concern of their own on defense -- Haloti Ngata.
A two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle, Ngata missed his second straight practice with a thigh injury, according to The Baltimore Sun. Ngata is one of the most dominant defensive players in the NFL, ranking fifth on the Ravens in tackles (28), second in sacks (three) and first in forced fumbles (two) and fumble recoveries (three).
No one has ruled out Ngata and there is a good chance the 6-foot-4, 330-pounder could still play, because he's extremely durable. He's only missed two games in his six-year NFL career and has played in 30 straight games.
If Ngata can't play, the Ravens would likely go with Arthur Jones, a 2010 fifth-round pick who hasn't started an NFL game.
