Hensley's prediction: Browns-Steelers
By Jamison Hensley
We're still going to have our Friday Forecast on, well, Friday. But, with the only inter-division AFC North game of the week kicking off tonight, I'll give my prediction for just that game right now.
This week, I'll be going against two of our readers, notMattLythgoe, who correctly matched my total points for the Browns-Steelers game, and Sabbie5, who was closest to the total points for last Sunday's Bengals-Steelers game.
Jamison Hensley: Steelers 20, Browns 6
notMattLythgoe: Steelers 20, Browns 6
Sabbie5: Steelers 34, Browns 7
Steelers 20, Browns 6: The quick four-day turnaround and the Browns' red-zone defense will keep this game closer than expected early. But Pittsburgh has the decided edge in both talent and motivation over the Browns, who are on the verge of clinching another losing season. The Steelers will wear down Cleveland in the second half by committing to the run with Rashard Mendenhall and Isaac Redman. Barring a Steelers turnover or a long return, the Browns won't get into the red zone. It'll be one of those methodical wins that will feel like the Steelers won by a larger margin.
