Possible rabies exposure for Ravens fans
By Jamison Hensley
Before Baltimore Ravens fans head to Thursday night's preseason game, here's your checklist:
Ray Lewis jersey, check. Cold beverage, check. Rabies vaccine ... wait, what was that?
NBCWashington is reporting that Ravens fans may have been exposed to rabies at last week's preseason game. A bat reportedly landed on a person in the stands at M&T Bank Stadium and wasn't captured for testing.
The Maryland Department of Health is urging anyone who may have come into contact with a bat at the game to contact their local health department.
It's one thing to have to pay full price for a preseason game. It's another issue to be subjected to an incident like this.
