Browns' Weeden cleared to practice
By Jamison Hensley
Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden is scheduled to start Sunday at Oakland after being cleared to practice, coach Pat Shurmur told reporters Wednesday.
Weeden suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win against the Steelers. Colt McCoy finished the final two series for the Browns.
But it looks like Weeden won't miss his first start of the season. Shurmur indicated that McCoy won't be getting any increased reps this week.
"We're moving ahead with Brandon," Shurmur told reporters, via The Plain Dealer.
