Friday Forecast: Week 17 predictions
By Jamison Hensley
I haven't had a perfect week since Week 11. Time to end the regular season strong. Here are the guaranteed results ...
Bengals 20, Ravens 13: The Bengals don't have anything to play for in terms of playoff seedings, but they still have a bad taste in their mouths in getting routed by the Ravens in the season opener. Cincinnati has been on a roll, winning six of its past seven games, and it will want to keep that momentum going. The Ravens are banged up and will take time in the second half to rest up for the postseason.
Steelers 24, Browns 6: If the Browns are starting Thad Lewis, I can't see a third-string quarterback reaching the end zone against the NFL's top-ranked defense. This is also assuming running back Trent Richardson (ankle) can't play as well. The Browns have lost by a combined 39 points the past two weeks, and it's hard to think they'll put up a fight in the finale.
Week 16 record: 2-1. Season record: 29-18 (.617).
Bengals 13, Steelers 10 (my prediction: Steelers 27, Bengals 24)
Broncos 34, Browns 12 (my prediction: Broncos 31, Browns 16)
Ravens 33, Giants 14 (my prediction: Ravens 23, Giants 20)
