Browns name Turner offensive coordinator

By Jamison Hensley

As expected, the Browns officially named Norv Turner the offensive coordinator as part of Rob Chudzinski's new coaching staff in Cleveland.

Turner was the Chargers head coach from 2007 to 2012. It will be Turner’s fifth stop as an offensive coordinator. Turner was the offensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys from 1991-93, the Chargers in 2001, the Miami Dolphins from 2002-03 and the San Francisco 49ers in 2006.

The Browns also announced the hiring of Brad Roll (strength & conditioning), Mike Sullivan (offensive line) and Scott Turner (wide receivers). In addition, Chris Tabor (special-teams coordinator) and George Warhop (offensive line) will be retained from last year’s staff.

I will have more on Turner's hiring soon.
