Where AFC North teams rank on Forbes list
By Jamison Hensley
Only one AFC North franchise -- the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens -- improved on Forbes' NFL Team Values list.
The Ravens are ranked No. 9 on the list, which is two spots better than 2012. Their value increased from $1.157 billion last year to $1.227 billion this year.
The Steelers organization, which is valued at $1.1 billion, stayed at No. 14 for a second straight season. The Steelers and Ravens are the only teams in the division ranked in the top half of the NFL in value.
The Browns slipped from No. 21 in 2012 to No. 22, but their value increased to $1 billion. The Bengals dropped one spot to No. 27 and remain one of nine teams under $1 billion in value.
For the first time, three AFC North franchises are valued over $1 billion.
