Wake-up caw: Ray Rice turning the corner?

By Jamison Hensley

What was lost in the spittle spat with the Cleveland Browns was an injury update from Ray Rice. The Baltimore Ravens running back feels like he's come full circle against the Browns after injuring his hip against them in Week 2.

"[The bye week] was every bit much-needed," Rice said, via the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network. "I felt myself turning the curve after the Pittsburgh game, felt pretty good. I've been coming out of games getting better and better each week. So having a week where you're not even getting touched, that definitely paid dividends."

How Rice fares against the Browns should be a good measuring stick for him. In Rice's five trips to Cleveland, his rushing totals have been 154, 89, 92, 204 and 98 yards.

"Maybe there’s something in the grass out there, I don’t know," Rice said.
