Taylor, Williams probable for Bills game

By Scott Brown

PITTSBURGH -- Cornerback Ike Taylor and linebacker Vince Williams were full participants in practice on Friday and each is listed as probable for the Pittsburgh Steelers' 1 p.m. ET game on Sunday.

Taylor and Williams were limited in the early part of the weeks because of their respective concussions, but each has passed the mandatory concussion tests and are on track to play against the visiting Bills.

Right guard David DeCastro is slated to return to the starting lineup after missing the Patriots game with a right ankle injury. Less certain is who will line up next to him at tackle.

Marcus Gilbert was a limited participant in practice on Friday, and he is listed as questionable for Sunday.

Guy Whimper will start at right tackle if Gilbert is unable to go. Depth at tackle could be an issue if Gilbert and Mike Adams don’t play against the Bills. Adams was added to the practice report on Friday after he didn’t practice because of a rib injury.

The second-year man is listed as questionable for Sunday.

Wide receiver Markus Wheaton is among eight players listed as probable for Sunday, and the rookie third-round pick is expected to play after missing the last four games following surgery to fix a broken right pinkie.

Also listed as probable are defensive end Cameron Heyward (knee), center Fernando Velasco (thigh), left tackle Kelvin Beachum (knee) and tight end Heath Miller.
