Wake-up caw: Ravens ready for Le'Veon Bell

By Jamison Hensley

Last month, Pittsburgh Steelers rookie running back Le'Veon Bell ran for a season-high 93 yards in a 19-16 win over the Baltimore Ravens. This time, the Ravens say they're ready for him.

“He’s a patient runner,” defensive end Chris Canty told The Baltimore Sun. “Those blockers want to lay on you to create alleyways for Le’Veon Bell to take advantage of it. He does a great job of finding space, finding where you’re not and really being able to hit that hole and accelerate. It’s going to take all 11 hats to stop Le'Veon Bell.”

In the four games since playing Bell, the Ravens have given up more than 58 yards rushing to one back (Chicago's Matt Forte). Baltimore currently has the 11th-best run defense in the NFL.
