As expected, Green was listed under the "limited" practice designation.
The fourth-year wide out was seen mostly standing around while teammates went through stretching and position drills during the open portion of practice. Although he cleared a phase of the concussion protocol, Green still wasn't permitted to participate in contact activities. He won't be able to do that until after seeing a neuropsychologist Friday and an independent neurologist Saturday.
If he passes their evaluations, he'll be able to play in this Sunday's wild-card playoff game at Indianapolis.
Along with Green, the Bengals practiced running back Cedric Peerman in a limited capacity. Like Green, Peerman suffered a concussion in Sunday's 27-17 loss at Pittsburgh.
For the second straight day, the Bengals were without tight end Jermaine Gresham, who is trying to get beyond a back injury. He missed multiple days of practice going into the Bengals' game at Cleveland three weeks ago because of a toe injury. He tested the toe before the division game, but he felt like it pained him too much to play.
Also out a second straight day was receiver James Wright, who was limited all of last week due to a knee injury that has held him out since Week 14. It had been looking promising last week that he'd return in time for this Sunday's game. Now, the optimism doesn't appear as strong.
