As expected, the Cleveland Browns altered the bottom of their roster after being awarded four new players Sunday.
Cleveland added Baltimore Ravens 2009 draft pick Cedric Peerman to its thin corps of running backs. The Browns also were awarded former Rams offensive lineman Phil Trautwein, and defensive backs DeAngelo Smith from the Dallas Cowboys and cornerback Marquis Floyd from the Seattle Seahawks.
To make room for the roster, Cleveland released three players: offensive lineman Corey Hilliard, defensive back Bret Lockett and linebacker Marcus Benard.
