Ravens make personnel moves

After recently losing George Kokinis, who became general manager of the Cleveland Browns, the Baltimore Ravens announced their restructured front office.

Three people were promoted, which include Eric DeCosta taking over as director of player personnel. Vincent Newsome has been elevated to director of pro personnel, and Joe Hortiz has been named director of college scouting.

"All of these men have been with the Baltimore Ravens for the bulk of our organization's existence," Baltimore GM Ozzie Newsome said in a statement. "They have been involved in every facet of the acquisition of our players, and they understand our process. They are all looking forward to their new challenge, and the energy they bring to their positions will continue to make us better."

The Ravens have a unique challenge this year of replacing important members of their front office, coaching staff, and possibly the roster. Baltimore has already lost Kokinis, former defensive coordinator Rex Ryan, and has many key free agents due to hit the open market this offseason.
