AFC North: John Harabugh

Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC North:

  • Quarterback Brady Quinn, who grew up a Cleveland Browns fan, is eager to play the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Morning take: I get the sense Quinn really understand this rivalry. He could endear himself to the organization and fan base by ending the Browns’ 12-game losing streak to their biggest adversary.

Morning take: I don't think it's necessary. Yes, the Ravens get pass happy at times. But Cameron remains one of the top OCs in the NFL in my book.

  • Free-agent defensive lineman Shaun Smith is expected to return to the Cincinnati Bengals Wednesday.
Morning take: With Domata Peko’s knee surgery, Cincinnati could use some depth at the position. Smith has been productive in stops with Cleveland and Cincinnati.

Morning take: Although it's possible, I would be a bit surprised if either player suits up on a short week. But Pittsburgh (6-6) should be able to handle Cleveland (1-11) either way.
