ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay put together his Mock 2.0. As always, you'll need an Insider subscription to see the entire post. But I have received permission to share with you some details about the teams in the division:
Kiper's pick: Barkevious Mingo, DE, LSU
Hensley's comment: The Browns need another edge pass-rusher and Mingo is the fastest and most athletic one in this year's draft class. The downside is he doesn't dominate as much as someone with his physical tools should. Mingo had 4.5 sacks this past season, and one came against Towson.
Kiper's pick: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
Hensley's comment: The Steelers already have Steve McLendon to take over for Casey Hampton, but Hankins would be an upgrade. He shuts down the run in the middle. But it might be a stretch taking him this high in the draft. Hankins also has weight issues (he started college at 350 pounds).
Kiper's pick: Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama
Hensley's comment: I wouldn't be opposed if the Bengals took a running back early in the draft, but Lacy isn't what the team needs. The Bengals are looking for speed and a home-run threat. Lacy did develop a burst in his final season, but he's been described as an agile Michael Bush-type back.
32. Baltimore Ravens
Kiper's pick: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama
Hensley's comment: Since Terrence Cody hasn't really panned out as expected, the Ravens would essentially be replacing one Alabama nose tackle with another. Not sure if the Ravens would go in this direction in the first round. There are bigger areas to address, especially if they don't re-sign Ed Reed. The Ravens could trade back into the second round and get Williams.
