Morning take: Ben and Bradshaw

Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC North:

  • Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger met with former Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw to mend fences.

Morning take: This is good for the Steelers organization. Bradshaw reached out to Roethlisberger early in his career and eventually grew frustrated. Now it appears both Pittsburgh quarterbacks have found common ground.

  • Receiver Chad Ochocinco says he's not campaigning to leave the Cincinnati Bengals.

Morning take: Ochocinco tried that route before and failed. Now franchise quarterback Carson Palmer is giving it a shot.

  • Would the Baltimore Ravens re-signing Jared Gaither be a surprise?

Morning take: After all that's taken place this past season, it would be a surprise. But the Ravens have a significant need at right tackle.

  • Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson believes the Cleveland Browns are in good hands.

Morning take: President Mike Holmgren and general manager Tom Heckert have done a good job drafting players in their first season. Another good draft will go a long way to help new head coach Pat Shurmur.
